I've spent ten years inside large, regulated organisations — IAG NZ & Australia, then Roam Digital, and now Global Dairy Trade — turning sprawling platforms into products people can actually use. The pattern in your role description is familiar to me: a small, capable team running national platforms that need to serve clubs, coaches, regions and players, with vendors doing the heavy engineering.
What I bring is platform ownership end-to-end: roadmap, vendor management, UAT and release coordination, performance analytics, and the unglamorous onboarding work that makes adoption stick. What I bring extra is a habit of embedding evidence-based discovery so the roadmap stops being driven by the loudest stakeholder.
